Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timely payments to vendors
  • Post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure financial integrity
  • Prepare HST, WSIB, and EHT returns, ensuring compliance with all regulatory deadlines and requirements
  • Generate and distribute operational and financial reports to support management decision-making
  • Monitor and track firm contracts and subscriptions for accuracy and renewal management
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting and year-end partnership and corporate tax preparation
  • Various reporting and analysis

Skills and Experience:
  • University degree or equivalent
  • 1 – 3 years of postgraduation experience in a similar accounting role; experience in other professional services firms preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with iFirm is considered an asset
  • Organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Experience with accounting/bookkeeping
